Theres already 7 Canada teams. Florida needs more NHL teams because 2 isnt enough like Key West, Orlando, West Palm, Jacksonville. lol and they should have the Winter Classic there too. At night the ice doesnt melt.

Somewhere on the East coast, preferably the most central city in the Maritimes to make it as accessible to the most people. Perhaps a return to Quebec City might be in order as well

Quebec, Halifax, Hamilton, Regina. Maybe Thunder Bay or St. John's?

I noticed that U.S. teams have won 17 Stanley Cups in a row. Maybe Montreal and Toronto could support two teams.

I think the new ownership of the Leafs will, unlike the previous ownership, have a vested interest in fielding a winner. The contender teams that Burke has built in Vancouver and Anaheim makes think there is no reason why he cannot do the same in TO, and it looks like his plans are beginning to bear fruit.

Habs... Not sure what to make of them right now

Vancouver could not support a second franchise, there are not enough people let alone people who can afford to support an NHL team after they have paid their ridiculous mortgages or rents

For one thing, why not a second team in Toronto? The Rangers, Islanders and Devils all play within 50 miles of each other and they all seem to do ok.

I've often wondered the same. Seemed ridiculous that Bettman blocked the RIM guy from moving the Coyotes to Hamilton, that franchise will be in a perennial dead zone as long as it stays in Phoenix

Best franchise in the league, thanks largely to Ilitch's passion for and knowledge of the game and the desire to have a winning team, even if he has to dig into his own pocket to keep it that way
And Stevie Y was always my favorite forward
