It makes you think to way back where it began, and Lily talking to Harry makes it more real, that is ending.
glimpse Not my daughter you bitch

It is emotional If you grew up with them books and movies.

I am watching the last movie with my sisters and boyfriend, as well as some friends. And I will take some tissues because if the video made me shear some tears, then the movie will made it worse.

Update: Pottermore.com is not about a new book or related to the movie. It will be announce in 5 days and 14 hours

Potter is a series for morons, idiots and trollops. The language is simplistic, its a bleeding soap opera, its written at a moron-level reading comprehension, its incoherent, unoriginal and its popular like McDonald's is popular, its low brow crap meant to make morons happy. I cant believe this rubbish is popular, you'd have to be a oxygen starved brain stem to think this crap is interesting. The stupid made up names. The idiotic garb. The retard level quasi-themes. Its really deeply sad this was made after solid gold stuff like LOTR trilogy. JK Rowling is a loser and writes idiot stuff because she is an idiot and idiots like what idiots write, so I guess that makes some sense that idiots like you would like it.

The only idiot here are you! Have you ever written a book? I don't think so.

A short story, yes. Probably not as good as JKR, but then again, have you ever written a book? And what does having written a book or not have anything to do with being able to critique literature. It seems a lot of authors produce substandard scripts, so being a critic and an author are two separate and seemingly unrelated skills.
  • Tibby John Ha... 2011/07/12 15:07:54
    Tibby
Yeah, I see your point, but there is a difference between writing a critic and calling people who read some literature idiots.

Fair enough. I dont like the writing, I think they are one dimensional soap operas, however, I shouldn't begrudge anyone the pleasure of enjoying said writing - if it floats their boat so be it.

"The language is simplistic" "its a bleeding soap opera, its written at a moron-level reading comprehension" -- it's a childrens book, what do you expect?

"its incoherent, unoriginal and its popular like McDonald's is popular, its low brow crap meant to make morons happy. I cant believe this rubbish is popular" -- that is your condescending opinion, and its the opinion of an idiot. it's a story meant to entertain and make CHILDREN happy, it was never even going to be a movie until JKR got greedy. however, you saying "it's low brow crap meant to make morons happy" is highly condescending...just because you don't like the story, doesn't mean everyone who does is a moron.

"The idiotic garb" -- ok, in harry potter they wear wizard robes...lets take a look at bleach (judging by your profile picture i'm assuming you're interested in that show). what do they all wear? oh ya, robes...idiotic right?

"JK Rowling is a loser and writes idiot stuff because she is an idiot and idiots like what idiots write, so I guess that makes some sense that idiots like you would like it." -- ok, now you're just trolling.

oh god....i dread seeing you in these Harry Potter threads. but i have to agree with you, LOTR is better. And I am wondering, one of your complaints is that the HP names are made up. So are the ones in LOTR, even though they have the whole language of elvish and all that behind them. Do you not like those as well?
  • John Ha... padfoot 2011/07/13 09:00:22

LOTR names are often derived, a lot of them come from various mythologies, or a numer of them, especially the Elven ones, are following "correct" elvish phonology. Meaning JRRT invented a language with phonological rules and grammar and word order and a language that is completely usable, and then the names fit in with it. Its not like rubbish names like "Hufflepuff" - thats a retarded sounding name.

Its like when Tosh.0 was interviewing "Tay Zonday", Tay said, "I Googled it, and I couldn't find it", and Tosh was like, "yeah, those are just sounds."
    http://tosh.comedycentral.com...

When I read JRRT or look through the Encyclopedia of Arda http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/ I feel like this is real history, or at least as real as real mythology. It all makes sense, its chronologically sound, its all canonical and it really all fits together.

The Trilogy and all the works created to support its vast background is nothing short of a masterpiece.

I get that everyone has a right to their own opinion but that is a bit hard on us potterheads. I have grown up with it and is a part of my life I will never forget. And on the idiots bit, that is like calling Tolkien an idiot, both writers created their own worlds, characters, everything and you have the nerve to say that she is no good. The Harry Potter series has had the best British actors in it, including legends like Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman, are they idiots too? I am not a moron, otherwise I would not be abe to have a civilised argument back at you and I would just like to say that just because you don't like something doesn't mean that everyone who reads it are moron. If you don't like it because of the style I would be happy to provide you with some stories on fanfiction that might be more up to your tastes.

Oh I forgot, most names from Harry Potter are true to their character, take Sirius for example, the Dog Star, or Bellatrix, Warrior, or Alastar (Mad-eye Moody), Defender of man kind. Are they used wrongly.

Harry Potter was published a few months after I was born. When I was really little my mom read me Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone before bed. The first movie I ever saw in theaters was Harry Potter. The fist PG-13 movie I saw was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I cried when I read the 5th, 6th, and 7th book. After all that there is no way I wouldn't be emotional.

While many pages of my HP Deathly Hallows copy (and other HP books) are now severely warped, the tears won't come til I watch the pages come to life on screen and get more than a glimpse of what it will all look like.

I grieved the end of the book series a long time ago. The movies are mostly accurate and I love them but everything comes to an end, I am also glad that the actors can pursue new opportunities and hopefully they won't only be known as harry ron and hermione for ever. I just hope they dont mess up the last movie because they were trying to make it overly epic.

I just can't believe that story I grew up with has come to an end.I will definitely cry when I see this movie.First there's Fred dying, and Lupin and Tonks, then the scene in the forest before he surrenders...The whole concept of finishing HP forever is...well,impossible.
