There was a brief moment, years ago, when it seemed like developers were suggesting "Halo 3" would be the last game in the series, but sales were too high to keep it down. Instead, they closed out the "original trilogy" and began work on a new one. Now "Halo 4" is less than a year away, and 343 Industries revealed the first official look at the upcoming sequel this week.
The four-minute video explains that "Halo 4" will focus more on Master Chief, the star of the first trilogy, and expand on his character development -- but that's secondary. The real evolution is in the details -- bigger locations, sleek textures, updated HUD displays, a new sound effect database built from scratch. - Ben 2012/03/06 20:33:49Hail to the Chief+1I can't even begin to describe all the great memories I've had Playing Halo with my bros over the years. Halo night replaced poker night all over the globe. I play it with my son and I also play co-op mode with my wife on easy. its such an easy game to pick up and play and the controls and gameplay have always been tight. The story lines are great and they all have a good replay value. I understand that many people like COD and some other first person shooters a lot better. But personally, I love Halo and as long as Bungie keeps making great games, I'll keep buying them.reply
