Was the Kimbo Slice vs. James "Colossus" Thompson Fight Fixed?

For any of you that saw the EliteXC MMA Kimbo vs. James Thompson fight, it seemed that the fight may have been fixed.

Thompson was beating Kimbo in almost all regards for a large majority of the fight. Then, all of a sudden, the fight was called because Thompson's cauliflower ear "popped" and some blood was seen on the side of his head.

Moderate-Hardcore fans of EliteXC believe that this fight was called because the success of the entire Kimbo campaign rests on his remaining virtually undefeated.

Do you think that the Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson fight was fixed?
 No way! I think that the referee just freaked out when he saw the blood and puss coming from Thompson's ear!
Definitely. EliteXC is trying to appeal to the majority of viewers by letting Kimbo win!

    thompson made the mistake of trying to trade hands. kimbo didn't tap when he was in the gillotine. the commentators even pointed out that he said he was alright when the ref asked him lol.

    Kimbo was trying (unfortunately) to work on the MMA skills he learned, he could have as he said himself gone for the ear (or the knockout) any time and got it

    Colossus was barely standing up. Kimbo landed some powerful punches. It was fair.
    PS: Watching his ear bleed was hilarious!
