Was Miss USA Rigged? (Miss Pennsylvania Thinks So)

Sheena Monnin, who represented Pennsylvania in the Miss USA 2012 pageant on Sunday, is being sued by pageant owner Donald Trump after claiming that the whole thing was decided before the pageant even started. Monnin says another contestant had seen a list of the top five contestants before the pageant even kicked off, and told her who they would be. Miss Pennsylvania also resigned from the competition, but says she resigned because officials were allowing transgender entries.

In response, Trump told the "Today" show, "What we’ve authorized today is we're going to bring a lawsuit. When she’s using the word 'fraud' -- that's pretty strong. So we're going to be suing her on that basis. The person that supposedly showed the list totally denies that that ever took place. This is a girl who went there, lost, she wasn’t in the top 15, and she's angry at the pageant system." But do you think Miss Pennsylvania may actually be telling the truth?

Why aren't the Miss America and Miss Universe Beauty Paegents never aired on tv anymore? That's really a great source of pleasure in such a terrible and tubulent world.

Miss Universe and Miss USA are shown every year on NBC. Miss Teen USA has been dropped from network TV but still operates.

    Don't know about Miss America

Aren't the Miss USA and Miss America beauty paegants the same thing?
  • wgossett99 bt sedlock 2012/06/26 13:02:25
    wgossett99
    NO.

Miss America is an independent pageant and has no affiliation with any major pageants.

Miss USA, Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA are all part of the Miss Universe Organization and are all owned by Donald Trump. Miss Teen USA is hanging on by a thread due to poor ratings, etc. but Trump has kept it alive.

It was last year. They usually are. The big Trump pageants (USA & Universe) air on NBC usually on Sunday nights.

Miss Teen USA went cable a few years ago and it is a year-to-year decision if it will air or not. It may die.

Interesting how the one who supported transgender, a male dressed as female, to be part of the contest won. It would not surprise me that those running the contest interview the participants and decide who is to "win."

You are confusing "transgender" with "transvestite." A cross-dresser (i.e. a man in a dress) is a tranvestite.

A transgendered person is somone who is SURGICALLY changed from a male to a female or vice-versa. Cher's son, Chaz Bono was born a girl, Chastity, who was gay. She was surgically altered to a male, complete with a penis. The more common transgender is male to female which involves converting the penis and scrotum into a vagina. (OUCH!)

I know the difference. I mean transgender as in mutilated man. Cutting one's penis does not make it a female and sawing in a fake one does not make it a male. If such converted person, converted from male to female could bear a baby or converted from female to male father one then it wuld be acceptable and so far that have not happened. Case in point? A vaunted "pregnant man" who was a normal woman with the penis attached to it.

Marek, your thinking is normal, but you and me plus others will get chastised as bigots or NOT P.C. for saying anything that's just command sense.

Plus, male to female or visa versa will still have their male or female chromosomes.
Can’t skirt this no matter what.

The Olympics used the chromosomes test to catch transgenders from competing in woman’s sports.

That’s right, there were transgender athletes and countries that knew about this and let them go and try it anyway.

    Was during the cold war.

The East Germans and Soviets did that.

You mean those Soviet and East German women athletes who took those steroids that made them perform better and made their voices sound more like men?
  • OneLast... bt sedlock 2012/06/22 16:57:45 (edited)

    Yes and NO.
Transgender were caught trying to compete in women’s sports.

I am 67 years old and remember this clearly, but this was not a big news item then because at times some countries and their coaches plus their athletic managers were suspicious but did nothing because of these people's performance. They were caught at the testing and sent home. Their transgender surgeries were mostly done somewhere in the west.

This post is not to vilify transgender, they felt they were women and had great athletic prowess, (even as men) and they gave it a shot.

Steroids usage was ramped among the communist countries around the late Fifties through the seventies, but was vehemently protested from the western countries, plus the long term negative health ramifications was also at issue and its influence on youth.

With the London olympics beginning in late July, I'm sure sure we'll hear of the athletes taking steroids.

They make the vagina out of his penis, cut it, split it, sow it, etc. Don't know how they make the rest of it like a uterus if they can do it at all, but biologically there is not really that much difference between a man and a woman I am told. "Not my words". Making a penis out of a clitoris, I have not heard, nor do I care about either. All seems depraved to me.
  • Marek OneLast... 2012/06/08 01:59:08

It is depraved. As you said it best, they can't do anything about the chromosomes.

    You are right, however;
Miss Canada was a Transgender, and very hot, very good looking.
Made it to the finals I think.

Forgot what Pageant it was, but this raised a big ruckus a few weeks ago.

The "judges" activists for the community of perverts always ask questions like that forcing the contestants to either lie or tell the truth and lose the chance to win. In my opinion Sheena Monnin is the winner. The slimy donald trump should be ashamed of himself trying to sue her.

I'm curious, has anyone ever thought this contest wasn't rigged? Have you seen some of the woman that have won? Now compare them, to the ones who have lost. Need I say more? Another basis for my opinion? Two words people...Donald Trump...Just a thought...

I say no because there would be more at stake rigging it than there would be if it were not.
Keeping it secret would be impossible in the long run. And on revelation, there would be a century of law suits in the works.

    1) she's just upset she didn't win with her fake looks.
    2) maybe it is rigged,
    3) honestly does anyone care?
    4) transgenders have the right to participate in pageants. Get over urself.

I'm goin with door #5 Monte... The one that says the whole thing is a sexist nightmare, is corrupt, always has been corrupt and always will be. Oh yea, if they want transgender contestants, and they can win, then party on....Just a thought...

Sexist nightmare? Is it not encouraging sexism for these girls to be participating in a pageant (supposedly) based on judging beauty in the first place? And it says MISS USA. There's nothing sexist about not letting the straphangers onboard, because they're not women. The fact we live in a world where that distinction has to be made is much more disturbing.
