Sheena Monnin, who represented Pennsylvania in the Miss USA 2012 pageant on Sunday, is being sued by pageant owner Donald Trump after claiming that the whole thing was decided before the pageant even started. Monnin says another contestant had seen a list of the top five contestants before the pageant even kicked off, and told her who they would be. Miss Pennsylvania also resigned from the competition, but says she resigned because officials were allowing transgender entries.

In response, Trump told the "Today" show, "What we’ve authorized today is we're going to bring a lawsuit. When she’s using the word 'fraud' -- that's pretty strong. So we're going to be suing her on that basis. The person that supposedly showed the list totally denies that that ever took place. This is a girl who went there, lost, she wasn’t in the top 15, and she's angry at the pageant system." But do you think Miss Pennsylvania may actually be telling the truth?

One of the things I noticed while watching is that when they were announcing those that would move on after every round, unlike other pageants where the camera has to sweep across the crowd to find the girl, their cameras focused on the girls before their names were even called. This seemed suspicious the first time it happened, and it happened every time, with no exception. Besides, it's Donald Trump, and he's a big slimeball, so why would you trust him at all? The girls used to have to be *real* pretty, and *real* smart, but since he came in it's been ruined by girls that look like Barbie dolls with fake faces. It's all fake whether it's rigged or not, which I believe it is.

I've never even heard of this show, but in my mind I don't find it surprising that she lost (I be there's some stiff competition). She's probably just upset, and wanted "revenge". It's just immature to sue her though. -.- Even if it is fake, it really isn't that big a deal.

Mr. Trump made a obnoxious comment for anyone to say..." She's a loser" , not only was there no reason for his stupidity, in my opinion it just shows how vane he is. He looks like a loser with his hair style and dishonest dealings and public opinions about anyone who has an opinion contrary to him. He thinks he matters which is sad. Cause he proves he wants to make an example of this girl but if it were another time in history, he would have lost his head for treason, against the leader of our country. His threats are insane. What's he going to prove that she isn't a women, or that she wasn't born in Penn. Yeah the pagent is rigged no matter what the judges do, he has the final word. He owns it!

It would be hard to believe that after looking at the contestents you couldn't be able to pick out the favorites within 5 min. That said, though I thought it would go to another state, she is quite beautiful and very inteligent.

The judges used to be allowed to spend time with the contestants the week before the final show. It gives them time to ask questions and judge other things like their ability to speak in front of millions of people, their interest,etc. As I said, that is the way they used to do it but times and things have changed. The girl was stupid to come out with her claim but I hardly think it's going to make any difference to anyone. Donald Trump suing an individual for accusing him of fraud is a joke. It's ridiculous. He will do anything to get attention.

Years ago.........I came to the conclusion they it was just a "MEAT MARKET" to degrade women, it seems that they have only to sing,dance, look procovative, wear revealing clothes, promote products for "prize money"(paltry sum, when compared to companies that sponsor them)............RIGGED HELL YES !!!!

I wish there had been a maybe, that is what I would have chosen ... Saw this on tv today and thought isn't it nice that we don't have a building blowing up somewhere and we can have fluff on the news ... I do hope it is not true and is just a big coincidence that someone may have seen 5 names on a list ... I never watch this type of show, so I don't know enough about them, but anytime you have high price events it just could be fixed ... The list could have been as simple as someone working behind the scene, that has been in the business for years, put together a list of their own that they thought would be the winners from their expert opinion, and they were right ...

These pageants are so contrived. Trump says it wasn't rigged, so of course it was. He probably instigated Sheena's resignation to generate publicity as well. It's a win for her, too. Who would have ever heard of her if she had remained just another also-ran?

Although I do think her answer to the final question helped her as much as the final question posed by Perez Hilton shot down Miss California. I also think NEITHER question should have been asked !!!!! It is a beauty pageant ! Hardcore controversial questions SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED !!!!!!
