How do you cope with the hottest day ever recorded in Los Angeles? If you're Miley Cyrus, it's simple: wear as little as possible.

The "Can't Be Tamed" singer was spotted out and about, smiling her way through record-breaking 113 degree heat. Her secret was a pair of super short shorts and a very see-through crochet top, proudly revealing a black bra beneath.

Oh, and heavy leather boots.

Not that it's the most revealing outfit Cyrus has been seen in, and what with the heat and all, it's understandable. But a see-through top on a 17-year-old, even in that kind of heat, might rustle a few feathers.

Though judging by her recent responses, we doubt Cyrus is too concerned about public opinion these days.

its insanely hot over there and so the less the better, plus she will be 18 in november so its no biggy, girls are walking around all the time in bikini tops when its hot anyways whether they are 15 or 17 or 19 or even older

You're telling me that "good girls" and Christians don't walk around on a beach in a bikini? This really isn't much different; she's out in public, she's in the public eye. Her outfit was no more revealing than a normal bikini.
