How do you cope with the hottest day ever recorded in Los Angeles? If you're Miley Cyrus, it's simple: wear as little as possible.

The "Can't Be Tamed" singer was spotted out and about, smiling her way through record-breaking 113 degree heat. Her secret was a pair of super short shorts and a very see-through crochet top, proudly revealing a black bra beneath.

Oh, and heavy leather boots.

Not that it's the most revealing outfit Cyrus has been seen in, and what with the heat and all, it's understandable. But a see-through top on a 17-year-old, even in that kind of heat, might rustle a few feathers.

Though judging by her recent responses, we doubt Cyrus is too concerned about public opinion these days.

    Many older girls wear this kind of clothing. It's no shock, and it could be worse. What if she had no bra on? Many people say she's a slut but look what other people are doing. It's the same but they aren't criticized.

    Too young is not quite the reason i'm so opposed, as i generally beleive that people have a freedom to wear what they like... within reason.
    I think my problem with it is that she's a role model for millions of young impressionable girls between the ages of 8-14, and i really think she should be teaching them to respect their body more than just show it off everywhere.

    What? Have you SEEN what teenagers wear these days on the weekends?
    Plus, Miley's stopped being as much of a role model and moved away from Hannah. If this was 5 years ago when that started, I'd be more mad. But Miley's HER OWN PERSON, not her dad or Hannah Montana.
