Either the Miami Heat organization is hyper-sensitive or Lil Wayne is looking to get a little free publicity. While there’s two sides to every story, clearly one of them is telling the truth in this scenario and the other is fibbing. One fact is iron clad — Lil Wayne was at the Lakers Vs. the Heat game at Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Sunday -- and then, he was not. From there, the details get a little muddled.
For his part, the rapper says he was tossed out. That night he tweeted, “"So I'm @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#€k da Heat." A rep for the Heat refutes the statement, saying the Grammy winner made the decision to leave on his own accord.
But maybe a third version, from a fan who happened to be sitting near by tells the true story. According to tweets from a man named Danny Vega, "Random guy yelled at Lil Wayne at #MiamiHEAT game, Weezy looked back, gave him a mean stare & gestured he had a gun. Weezy just got into argument with security at the #MiamiHEAT game. He got kicked out for gun gesture."
