Kim Kardashian fans are not happy with the starlet right now. It seems her image of a diamond-studded handgun got them all a twitter in their online remarks. Kim posted the below shot of the blinged-out firearm on Instagram and fans immediately lashed out. Their main gripe is Kim’s seeming hypocrisy on the issue of gun violence.

Last month, after the Sandy Hook Elementary Schools shooting, Kim showed her support for the victims and families by tweeting, "Today, people in Newtown are making the #sandyhookpromise to reduce gun violence. Sign the pledge with me at http://www.sandyhookpromise.org."
Then, this week, she posted the shot of the gun heard 'round the world. One fan replied, "You have too much influence to be this blind and ignorant. Innocent children & people still die even if the gun is pretty.” And Kim has uploaded other gun-related pics in the past, too, including a shot of a mother of pearl engraved Yves Saint Laurent pistol and a shot from her trip to a firing range back in November.
And while the constitution gives Kim the right to bare arms, is she being hypocritical by taking both sides? What do you think? Was Kim Kardashian's gun tweet OK or irresponsible?

However, in other unrelated news, I still hate this foul woman.
so law abiding people should have the right to own a gun for protection, hunting, target shooting or collecting...
It's not hypocrisy. It's not even irresponsible.
The higher the restrictions the higher the violence. Chicago, DC, Detroit, NY have lots of gun restrictions. Their violent crime is also high
There are actually three words here. The simple one is the big growly creature (unless you prefer the Winnie-the-Pooh type). Hardly anyone past the age of ten gets that one wrong. The problem is the other two. Stevedores bear burdens on their backs and mothers bear children. Both mean “carry” (in the case of mothers, the meaning has been extended from carrying the child during pregnancy to actually giving birth). But strippers bare their bodies—sometimes bare-naked. The confusion between this latter verb and “bear” creates many unintentionally amusing sentences; so if you want to entertain your readers while convincing them that you are a dolt, by all means mix them up. “Bear with me,” the standard expression, is a request for forbearance or patience.
“Bare with me” would be an invitation to undress. “Bare” has an adjectival form: “The pioneers stripped the forest bare.”

And as if anyone other than a richie rich can afford a gun like that anyway.
By the way, guns don't promote violence, irresponsible usage of guns do. If she tweeted a pic of the gun being aimed at someone, the camera, or herself, THEN I can see reason for concern.
Whereas her fans and Twitter followers come home from the cinema where they've watched Django Unchained or A Good Day to Die Hard, one of those movies where entire family lines and the populations of small villages are brutally murdered with *gasp!* firearms -- not that there is anything wrong with such movies, mind you -- but they come home and turn on their PC, see a photo of a tiny handgun and claim that innocent people are going to die because of this Twitter image. But that's not hypocritical at all. Riiiight.
also...the writer of the article...needs to grammer check.
"And while the constitution gives Kim the right to bare arms..."
nope...it gives the right to BEAR ARMS.....
it doesn't care if you are sleeveless....smh
I don't know ANY liberals who would want to stop you from firing a revolver at a firing range, and I'm not aware of Kim K ever saying otherwise.
