Was It Right For The Video Of "The Hoff" Drunk To Be Leaked?

May 3. 2007

"Check out this video of David Hasselhoff drunk in his Las Vegas hotel room that's going to air tonight on ET.

The video was shot by his daughter, it's a really sad side of the former 'Baywatch' star. Hoff and his wife are currently going through a divorce and a child custody battle." from Hollyscoop.com

There's some things of celebrities we just don't need to know or see.

Yeah, the news can be enough.

Plus, am I the only one who thinks the scenes of Mitch and Hobie on this part of this Baywatch episode could've been done better? In a way?
However, it was nice to see the cereal left out. I also liked it when Mitch called him road runner.

Those writers deserve a razzie for this and they can learn more by watching how this is directed .

And it should've been like this: Mitch: "And he's drinking beer?"

Hobie: "He might be, I don't know."

Mitch: " What does he look like?"

Hobie: "Well, he's a little shorter than you, and has curly hair kinda like you, except a little (to be chosen)."

I thought I had heard on one of the news reports that David gave his consent to have this tape shown, I hope this video helps him get further help with his drinking problem.

His daughter is obviously trying to get him to sober up. If putting this out in the public helps, then fine. How did the clip get out? If it was his daughter, then I can understand. How could anyone else have gotten it? It's very sad. He seems to be a good guy...but with a big problem.

I think it is pathetic, He will obviously have to explain while trying to gain custody why his daughter is parenting him. So sad for that little girl. Get to rehab David and be a father.

The Media is hungry for any kind of story... even if it means invading someones privacy.

Clearly this is a guy with a problem. I feel bad for him. And I'm confused why his daughter would do this. It seems partly like she's concerned and partly like mom was being manipulative.

Everyone gets drunk from time to time (if you drink).

He was doing it in his own private environment, there's nothing wrong with that.

I don't understand why this is even valuable for ET to air the segment.. It just seems that they are running out of "real good" segments to air, not to mention this is totally invading his privacy...

Keep it private...i'm not interested in their personal affairs. That's a pathetic low blow to win public sympathy. That being said, it was a brilliant custody battle move.

His daughter should show him some respect by not putting family issues out on the internet for the public.

She shouldnt be put in a position where she feels the need that she has to teach her father a lesson. He and only he is to be held responsible. If it takes a TV show to wake him up and start being a father to his daughter so be it. Poor little girl, she was probably angry and scared.

We don't need to see the darker side of a celebrity filmed in his house. If David Hasselhoff went out in public and caused a car accident or something, then we still shouldn't have the news media spend any time airing it.

his career has been in a downward slump perhaps, this will straighten him out so that he can be a better influence to his daughter.
