Despite vowing to make skateboarding a priority, Lil Wayne has continued to make music, and thanks to his latest release, he is back in the spotlight again, although this time he's the subject of controversy. On Lil Wayne's newest track, he remixes Future's "Turn on the Lights" and raps "Tell her I skate/I ain't got no worries/No Frank Ocean, I'm straight." Fans are wondering what prompted this reference and if it was appropriate for him to rap about Ocean's sexuality. What do you think?

Of course it's never appropriate to intentionally try to make a mockery of another individual. However, everything always falls on that freedom of speech bullsht that everybody likes using as their ace. So although inappropriate, he has the right to say it.

No, but at least it was not horrendously offensive. He could have used gay slurs and mocked Ocean. It was definitely rude- but it could have been much worse.

Kudos to Ocean for coming out in the hiphop music genre.

Not cool at all, but really I feel like lil wayne did it to stay relevant. His music, just like his career, is dying while franks is just getting started. Let him crawl back into that hole he came from!

Lil Wayne and eminem are one in the same... Using lyrics to exploit people, drugs, bashes on homosexuality and women... It's sick

At the end of the day, this says more about Lil Wayne' sexuality than anything else.
"I'm straight??" Yeah right, pull the other one. And pull your pants up while you're at it.

Rap has always been about pushing boundaries, just like rock. The fact Lil wayne has said that just gives the both of them publicity. Coming from someone who loves both lil wayne and frank ocean

Classical, Rockand Roll, Easy listening, and Country, Reggae, rap is just an angry form of poetic license gone awry it does not do anything to nurture the inner soul unless you are some dope fiend, or street thug. There is no harmony just the beat of a subhuman culture that does nothing to enrich society as a whole.

The question is about whether it was appropriate, not whether it should be censored by the goverment.
