Was Diane Sawyer Drunk During the Election Coverage?

She's old, she was most likely just exhausted from the extra time and effort she put out during the freakish election period. But everyone would like to think she was drunk...

I think she was, now that was funny.

these advertisers (they are just more marketing tools of what has purchased their services)
just don't care anymore ..
about who sees what they do or imbibe ..
doesn't surprise me at all .. when any appear 'under the influence' of drugs/alcohol ..

I think without much sleep she was probably slap-happy. When you go a long time without sleep you can get what is called "sleep-drunk", you bounce off walls and slur your speech. You can even be fined for driving a car with it, as it's called reckless driving. It's long and monotonous having to cover an election. No wonder she was out of control.

PAINFUL. Like this administration and the rest of the coast elitists, impaired!

She is a professional and it was probably exhaustion. I do not think she would work impaired.

She was high from the legalized pot and was all happy because she knew that now she'd get free birth control and then kill her fetus is the birth control failed.

She`s very Professional, so if she was drinking prior to her going on air, she obviously knew when she had enough. Because she didn`t seem that drunk to me. But that`s just my opinion!

No, it is out of character for her to be anything but professional. My guess she was either slap happy from hours working without sleep, or she may have been ill and taken something like an Antihistamine or something. I remember being so sick one year at school and having to speak to a group of parents at their children's award's assembly. I took some over the counter cold medicine so my nose wouldn't run and I was flying. I can't even remember the speech I gave. I have never ever taken cold medicine again at work. I had a terrible reaction to it. So who knows, perhaps she was tired and took something...She did sound odd, but drunk? Naw, that is totally out of character for her. Plus on set she would have an ear piece in and be hearing several people talk to her about results etc. Speaking live and talking while someone is shouting in your ear has to be difficult.

For your info, she has been seen as a "secret" party girl and has also had a thing for alcohol since her days at WLKY-TV. Sawyer being the prominent news and politics personality she has been for so long, she has found that the road to success is most times a hard one, and a journey that is sometimes made easier to travel with the occasional use of alcohol among other things....

Most people are boozers and alcoholics lol, lol... that's why the selling of Alcohol is still legal, lol, lol....Too many drunks.

She was tired and trying to keep a disorganized mass of commentators busy saying something remotely interesting while we all sat waiting to know which team won.
