Lindsay Lohan apparently wasn't aware that her bad reputation extends beyond the general public, because she seemed completely blindsided by Betty White's passing criticism.
White recently told The Daily Mail, "I cannot stand the people who get wonderful starts in show business, and who abuse it. Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, for example, although there are plenty of others, too. They are the most blessed people in the world and they don't appreciate it."
She went on to say that hard-partying celebrities like Lohan are "terribly ungrateful" to be in the positions they are compared to her days, when stars "dressed modestly and were always on our best behavior in public."
Lohan immediately took to Twitter.
"Wow. I've always been a fan of hers," she wrote. "It's a bit strange when people feel they must speak publicly about others. Especially a grown woman."

I could only dream of being criticized by her.
And Linsay was sooo cute in "Parent Trap." Charlie Sheen isn't setting a very good example for his kids either. Doesn't anyone have any ethics any more? White trash with money doesn't make their actions alright..That's my opinoin and I'm sticking to it..
time someone 'tells it like it is' to these spoiled rotten egomaniacs. We worship stars and celebrities much too much and give them free reign to do anything they want to, no matter how self-destructive! We should stop going to their shows and events until they seriously attempt to straighten out their lives.
betty is to awesome to do anything wrong, she could shoot me in the face and i would still love her!!!

Like I said, Betty has had a long career. Lohan should take any sound showbiz advice before it's all too late.
You have to be able to take the good with the bad, and roll with the puches. and you're right. Being a kid star is hard especially when you don't have proper parental guidance. i think that's why older people are trying to "check" her because they feel she doesn't have the proper guidance. i don't think it's done malisciously. I think older folks just understand better the pressures of the biz and can't see how people would not want to protect themselves better.
Lindsayis just pissy because she got called out.
