Here's the story ... of a man named Vince Vaughn .... who is co-developing and executive producing a modern-day reboot of "The Brady Bunch," Deadline reports.

The original sitcom, which ran from 1969-1974, famously featured two single parents who married and merged their respective three kids each, for a total of three girls and three boys (and let's not forget Alice, the housekeeper.) And that's how they became a family.
In the new reboot, a divorced Bobby Brady (one of the three sons) has kids from a previous marriage, is remarried to a woman who also has children, and they also have a biological child, Deadline reports. Their ex-spouses also play a role in their lives. Certainly a more modern take ... but are you sick of Hollywood recycling the same-old shows and movies over and over again?

- JCLadybug 2012/08/03 16:34:10Great idea+2If they keep to generally family friendly programming, it could be a good idea. There aren't many shows for the whole family can watch (there was one I liked last year that fits the bill). Honestly, it could be hit or miss.reply
