Here's the story ... of a man named Vince Vaughn .... who is co-developing and executive producing a modern-day reboot of "The Brady Bunch," Deadline reports.

The original sitcom, which ran from 1969-1974, famously featured two single parents who married and merged their respective three kids each, for a total of three girls and three boys (and let's not forget Alice, the housekeeper.) And that's how they became a family.
In the new reboot, a divorced Bobby Brady (one of the three sons) has kids from a previous marriage, is remarried to a woman who also has children, and they also have a biological child, Deadline reports. Their ex-spouses also play a role in their lives. Certainly a more modern take ... but are you sick of Hollywood recycling the same-old shows and movies over and over again?

and kid friendly shows, such as the Brady Bunch, return to living rooms across North
America, along with similar just as good, just as clean, just as warm, and just as family
and kid friendly new shows being developed for the small screen. Unfortunately, in recent
times, comedies have become more bawdy and less family and kid friendly. One show
that illustrates this is Two an a Half Men. As much as I would like to see remakes such as
the Brady Bunch reappear and succeed, sadly, I don't see that happening anytime soon.
It is the best anyone is going to get. Thank GOD for NetFlix and Hulu where I can still get the classics.
Hollywood needs to start paying writers and get new intelligent material for ADULTS, and I don’t mean XXX.

There's a big difference between inspiration and rip-off. How many more times are they going to remake Spider-Man? Titanic? Conan? Superman?
