One of the most honest moments in the skit, was when the Boooooooobs guy said "I don't even bother to read the source material" I see so much of that on the internet.

That's most likely the intention. But I've noticed that pisses people off more. Especially when you do it here. I've seen Politically charged polls in the Fun & Humor section and when I asked why it was there the person told me, Because more people frequent the Fun & Humor section. Gosh was he disappointed when he realized people read titles before clicking.

One of the things that earn me the most blocks on this site is I'll jump on one of those polls. Leave a smart assed comment, share it, and it ends up dominating as top comment. Basically because I crush their fantasy of being right.

Racism. It's the one thing the internet has taught me the true nature of. When I came up I was taught to believe that We in the U.S. have this moral superiority because we've worked out our race relations. But welcome the internet, where we have all the information we could ever imagine at our finger tips, but we still believe these narrow minded things. We have in this world White Criminals, Christian Terrorists, Women who have abortions for more reason than convenience, Generous Jews, Sober Irish folk, etc. But try and bring those points to someone who is convinced that every stereo type is the be all end all in truth, and you're the worst person that white republican God didn't create.

thats how they feel and they are so self righteous that goes to my theory of why they hate lgbt ppl they arent them so they feel like they can push them down because they will never be in that position so they can judge all day and they dont want to understand because theyre afraid of being converted and feel like they'll look more christian by throwing out bigotry rather than being intelegent

I seriously don't get that fear/hatred of the LGBT community. I come from the era when I was a kid. No One was gay. Elton John was but I didn't know what that was at the time. I never even caught on that that was the premise of Three's Company. Then in the early '90's closet doors started swinging open like crazy. At first it was met with a lot of resistance, but after a couple of years the agony died down because the earth didn't split and the devil didn't climb out. Same Sex Marriage has been legal here in NY for about a year now, and guess what? No heterosexual couples that I know haven't felt their union weaken. Every time I see a poll here about Gay rights, Marriage etc. My default answer is "I have yet to hear (read) a valid counter argument." Then of course I get the Logical Fallacy of since I'm not against Same Sex Marriage, Clearly I must be a gay. Which doesn't bother me, My GF would totally dig that if it were in fact the truth.

I watched that shows reruns every night when I was little. What's crazier was my parents had no problem with it. And I never caught on. I just thought it was a guy living with two girls, and elderly landlords.

It seemed to be more like Youtube than Sodahead.

It's definitely more prevalent on Youtube. When I saw the sketch over the weekend, I couldn't help but think of Sodahead.
