To have made a statement like that, I'm afraid she's either clueless, doesn't get out much or perhaps was understating the fact that she is in the minority of the population in terms of body fat ratios, etc. Maybe she was just being humble.

She is just another lonely, insecure want to be important person wanting to cry out to the world and be noticed. Those kind are so hung up on how they look that they forget they live in a real world and can't get out of their imaginary existence. As you grow older your body and face changes and that's why they have so many plastic surgeons trying to capture the fountain of youth. "GET REAL"

General Public? not even close. She is BEAUTIFUL, and if she is comfortable being that thin, awesome. But not everyone is lucky enough to not have to work, to have personal trainers at their beck and call, or to be able to have top chefs make them healthy meals. From what I remember of Beckham, she has been living that lifestyle for a long time. I think she forgets what it's like to be "normal". Skinny women can be JUST as beautiful as full figured women, I try not to criticize the skinny people because it's rude.

Of course not. Victoria Beckham is probably a size 0. The average woman is much bigger than that. Beckham is lovely, just not the "norm".

Each time I see a photo of her , I try to see something of a beauty , because one of the most handsome/popular/rich man of the world is (still ) married to her . There is nothing

NO! The general public isn't stick thin. She is painfully, sickly, thin. She lives in a dream world. (As do most celebrities.) But, she is even thinner and more irritating than most.

Well, she is NOT the norm. I saw her on another show and her arms were like fingers they were so thin. She used to look better. Another 10 - 15 pounds and she would look beautiful. Read about her crazy diets. She is very unhealthy in trying to be healthy. She has crossed the line and is on the too thin side of slim. She will soon begin to look much older than she really is. Any model can tell you that as you age you should pack on an extra ten pounds and your face doesn't show the lines. She looks terrible. Obviously she has an eating disorder.

Not the norm ≠ starving though. I could understand if her bones were showing or something but that's not the case. IMO people just want a reason to bash on thin/fit women using "REAL WIMMINZ" as a scapegoat.

I think thin and fit is great. I don't think she's fit. I do think she's too thin and sets a bad example for young women. As a teacher, I have seen girls as young as 4th or 5th grade, who throw up after lunch because they are worried about being too fat. Anorexia is a serious issue in this country. I have no problem with women who are in great shape, but I do have an issue with women who starve themselves.

If its trophy wives of hollywood executives who live in Malibu who work out all day, spend time in salons, have a personal trainer, a personal stylist and sleep with their hispanic gardener..... than yeah, she is part of a general public.
