How dare she assume that we would even want to be like her? I would much rather be myself. And some of us are secure enough in ourselves and respectful enough of ourselves to not flaunt ourselves in front of the entire world She evidently has some real self-esteem issues.
Petite women are real too!
Truthfully, VB represents what women generally say they want to look like.
Men of course have no say in the matter. Society does not care what men think at all. If it did, a much more voluptuous look would be in fashion, as it was 120 years ago when men still had some say in society.
I'm around 100 lbs as well but the majority of women have larger figures. Also, parts of her are silicone unlike most of us...Unless she has some abstract meaning, I don't get her statement. Makes you wonder the context.
Last I checked women are wanting to have much more than what VB has. As much as it's being fought, having a shape is coming back into style. Hence the large number of women flocking to get the Brazilian Butt Lift.
Of course everyone has a shape, even people who are backwards with that description, albeit a bad one. I can't post pictures but the woman is too small. She was my favorite Spice Girl, but I cannot lie that I'm worried about her and her fish diet. Her waist is the same size as he'd daughters.
she IS very small., but she still has a shape. now I dont agree with what she said---as a designer, she has to know that her exceptionally small size is in the minority, so I dont know whats up with her comment, but I take issue with people putter her down for it, the same way I'd take issue with somebody that was a size 14 being put down.

Yes and No. It could be argued that her figure represents an ideal for the general public. There are many women who have a similar body type as well. However, there are also many more people who don't have that sort of figure and never will. I don't know what context this was uttered in so I can't be entirely sure where she was going with it.
If her definition of the general public means average then she is incorrect. Most women her age have more weight on them and most do not have all of the cosmetic enhancements. Like many other celebrities, she is delusional and terribly out of touch.
Real women look like this:
The average American woman is at least a size 14, so its certainly not OUR general public that she represents.
No, I understood you.
Ik,r = I know, right?
As for the body dysmorphic disorder, you may be onto something.
Internally, she probably sees herself as larger than she actually is.
(No worries.)
I have no idea if that's in her history or not, but it would explain a lot.
