VH1 isn't taking any chances. The network has yanked Chad Johnson's (aka Chad Ochocinco's) upcoming reality show after the NFL wide receiver was charged with domestic battery in an incident involving his wife, "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada.

"Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it," the network said in a statement on Monday. More bad news for Johnson: the Miami Dolphins has dismissed him from team.
Johnson, a former contestant on Dancing With the Stars," was arrested on Saturday after allegedly headbutting Lozada during an argument, leaving a 3-inch cut on her forehead. According to reports, Lozada claims they got into a fight after she confronted Johnson about a receipt for a box of condoms. The couple married on July 4. Do you think VH1 did the right thing?

His "talent" on the football field was marginal at best anyway
you have to ASK This question?
(There's NO EXCUSE for ABUSE .. period. NO ONE should be promoted, paid, or in any way 'celeb-ed' for ABUSE of another .. cut it off from all income and publicity at this time).
Yep, cancel the jerk.
VH1 could have used the opportunity to educate people about the real life issues surrounding domestic violence but they chose to make it worse for the alleged victim. So sad....
Any extra excuse to stay (she did it on that show and they are fine now) is not a good thing. That comes to you from someone who did have to decide to leave once.
