Vanessa Hudgens was a victim of nude photo leaks back in 2007 -- and at her latest film premieres, she has described the event as the worst of her career.

The 24-year-old star of the "High School Musical" movies and the upcoming "Spring Breakers" - -in which she stars alongside Selena Gomez and James Franco -- spoke out about the scandal to Paper Magazine, and said that it was "just a really s**tty situation that sucked."

The former Disney star, who apologized to fans at the time, added that it "what was by far the worst moment of [her] career." Since then, she has taken her career in a more adult path than the films that made her famous, and says that "It's always been hard for actors to cross that bridge, but honestly, you have to hold out and do what you think is right for yourself."

IF they're done in good taste, nude photos can boost a celebrity's career
tremendously. On the other hand, if they are done in lousy taste, ie. as
porn, then they can be detrimental to the same.

Actresses tend to pretend that it is a bad career move and they act embarrassed. (Keep in mind they are actresses.) In truth, it gets them attention and any attention is good for their career.

Lets be honest. The only reason that photo surfaced was because she was with Zac Efron for a time. She got a peice of that in High School musical. Victim very unlikely. She wanted a lead part with Zac Efron. Who was in charge of that? Zac Efron...she should have known better then to attatch such a picture to an email to Zac. I am sorry Vanessa...being a victim and claiming to be a victim...are two different things.Besides that she looks quite hot.

I have no idea who Vanessa is, but just how did nude photos of her come into being in the first place? Apparently, she's wasn't very fore-sighted. People who pose nude and believe they're unique . . . aren't. And the photos can turn up anywhere, giving anyone who 's interested a look into their personality. Can you say slutty?

It depends on their image. Vanessa Hudgens' target audience was little girls, so posing nude did not mesh well with her image. (And pissed off fans' parents.) So it really depends on you want to be viewed.

It's sad, but in most cases, it helps the individual, because it increases their visibility, both in the media and with the general public.

Most of the time that you hear about nude photos/sex tapes being leaked, searches for the celeb skyrocket and make them more marketable.
