I mean, there were a lot of brilliant moments (Virtue and Moir winning gold after their FANTASTIC ice dance, men's curling, speed skating, etc), BUT, there's something so awesome about Canada winning the men's hockey goal on home soil... I mean, it wasn't as expected as our women's team (seriously, our girls are awesome, we sort of just expect them to win).
It was lovely.... and then the streets were flooded in celebration... not only in Vancouver... downtown Toronto was a zoo that evening.
