Usain Bolt Hated for having White Girlfriend. Does he deserve it?

Why am I not surprised that it's people in Jamaica who have a problem with this? These are the same people who punish the "crime" of homosexuality through murder. Oy vey.

It would be stupid to pick a white girl just because she was white. It would also be stupid to not consider 50% of the population just because she was white.

No, but there are plenty of black men who refuse to date black women because of the negative stereotypes associated with them. That isn't fair to black women at all. They're often painted as loud, bossy, and mean. That's simply not true. ALL women are like this, lol.

I'm all for interracial relationships and multiculturalism, because that's pretty much the only way we'll be able to stomp out racism.

If he's dating her because she's a awesome girl, good for both of them. However, if he deliberately sought her out simply because she has fair skin, then that's pretty messed up. It's shouldn't matter what color anyone is. I don't walk into a club looking for women of a certain skin tone. That's extremely immature.

So did I, ironically, I live in the south eastern US, (Alabama) and our area is far more accepting of interracial couples than many areas of the nation. At the mall Saturday, we saw several mixed couples, and no one was even blinking over it. BUT, apparently Jamaicans and yanks have an issue with it.

If they are happy no one's business. I wish the race stuff would fade, it is not a color issue it is the character and heart of a person that is important, and those that don't like it have little heart or character.

My daughter says we are all the "HumanRace" and varying shades of dark to light. She wishes everyone would stop obsessing over color as well.

I have been in a interracial marriage for 42 years, my wife being Hispanic. We were dating back in the 60's when it was illegal to marry some one from another race, the law changed in 1969. How stupid as if the color of someone's skin is their whole personality and being. I think your daughter is brilliant, blessings.

Miscegenation is perverse, especially on the part of the woman being irresponsible in picking a father for her children (in effect) or otherwise being a little tramp. As far as black men are concerned, "equal opportunity" does not mean equal access to white women. Jamaican nationals and black women don't like it, so why should I?
