"Twilight's" Nikki Reed and "American Idol's" Paul McDonald will have plenty to celebrate, but are we a bit cynical to question the timing of their engagement?

Looks like that Breaking Dawn wedding isn't the only prospective Twilight marriage on tap... A source confirms that the two are, indeed, engaged.

Is it a publicity stunt for Reed to go public with her engagement while attending the MTV Movie Awards, or did someone just happen to notice?

Let them get engaged WHENEVER they want. Not everything is about stupid Twilight and not everybody does things just because of Twilight. Get over it, people, how about you just wish them good luck and move on?

Just because she stars in Twilight it must be related right? Breaking Dawn don't come out till November, that's like 5 months away, why not just wish them good luck and stop hating, they love each other, I wish them all the happiness while enjoying the engagement :)

Well I'm not totally convinced, but I don't think she would jeopardized her career to help his unless they are truly in love. Hopefully their engagment last longer than the courtship did.
