Kristen Stewart, best known as Bella Swan from the The Twilight Saga, confirmed rumors that she was being considered to replace Angelina Jolie in "Wanted 2," but said she has "nothing nailed down" yet. Her schedule is still full, she said, because she's preparing to film "Breaking Dawn" -- possibly the first of two movies depicting the last book in the Twilight series -- and "On the Road," a movie based on Jack Kerouac's book by the same title.
If Stewart ends up acting in "Wanted 2" she will replace Angelina Jolie, who was interested in other pursuing movies -- specifically, Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity." Initially, Universal planned to cancel the Wanted sequel completely, but news of Stewart's possible casting revived it.
It looks like "Wanted" fans will have to wait while the project is either put on hiatus or recasted. In the meantime, director Timur Bekmambetov will have his hands full with his own list of projects, including a film adaptation of "Moby Dick" and a "mystery 3-D thriller" called "Red Asphault."

..tisha... 2010/06/03 04:23:36I think Kristen Stewart ...+8Stewart's action acting is the same expression I make when rummaging through the refrigerator.

Kristen Stewart cannot act. Over dramatic and fake. Plain and simple.
It was the character of Bella Swan that has given her such a high status.
why would they be replacing Angelina Jolie for Kristen Stewart anyway for the second movie? she killed herself at the end of the first one.
Yummy
Wait ...Isn't she supposed to be pregnant, or was that just a rumor?
She really is a good actress though. People should check out the movies she was in BEFORE Twilght/New Moon(which are the only movies including her that I actually despise.)
Mr. Rictus, Doll Master, Solomon Seltzer, Adam One, Brainbox, Sucker . . . . where in the f**k are they?
What I don't get is changing practically everything else to remove the Super Villain aspect of the comic. I mean thats the driving force. Wanted is a funny title because all the characters are super villains. It would be like filming Jurassic Park and taking out the dinosaurs.
They could have very easily left in the villains and had Wesley decide that he doesn't want to be a villain in the end . . . only to become like a modern dark hero like the Punisher or Wolverine. His characters Super Villain name is simply the Killer, close enough to Punisher for me. They could have left in most of the great Villains - Rictus and Seltzer and so on. Just have him experience regret halfway through the movie, get him to turn the Fox and then they fight back. Done.
What they did was just stupid.
She's actually a good actress. People should check out the movies she was in before Twilight/New Moon(which are the only movies including her that I hate).
Kristen can play a vampire well, but not a human...
Really Wanted 2is doomed...
So... how can Kristen be replacing her in the sequel?
What, is she gonna spend the whole movie just lying there?
If so, then it's gonna be the easiest paycheck she's ever gotten.
hee hee ;)
she looks like she hasn't found anything she wants to eat yet...nor does she has any hunger...
Watch youth in revolt 5 more times instead
why make another one?
