Don't believe the haters -- "American Idol" is still on top. Despite diminished ratings, the Fox show still regularly wins its time slot -- and advertisers still pay more for commercials on "Idol" than on any other show, Forbes reports in its list of TV’s Biggest Moneymakers.
"Idol" made $6.64 million in ad revenue every half hour in 2011, according to Forbes, making it the biggest moneymaker on TV. "The X Factor," another Fox show, came in second on Forbes' list, earning $5.55 million per half hour.
