More than ever before, this year's Golden Globes was big on the Internet, with a ton of people getting involved with live-blogging and live-tweeting. But though the night was full of winners, the real winner of the night -- as far as internet memes are concerned -- was Tommy Lee Jones.

The veteran actor who appeared in "Lincoln" and "Hope Springs" this year was caught on camera with an incredible deadpan, unsmiling face during a hilarious comedy bit by Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell, which left others in the room catching their breath from laughter.

Within minutes, the entire internet was ablaze with "Grumpy Tommy Lee Jones" memes. They ranged from a comparison to the "grumpy cat" meme, McKayla Maroney's famous "not impressed" face and the hashtag #tommyleejonesisnotimpressed. Do you think that Tommy Lee Jones' grumpy face was hilarious or horrible?

This was during a skit that Ferrell was doing. It was pretty stupid as he and his cohost were acting like they new what some of the movies were that were up for an award. I actually only saw that small part of the awards, and I even commented to my hubby that he didn't look amused when they showed him...and I thought it was hilarious. I love his roles in the movies he is in.

The poor guy probably just endured one of the worst awards ceremonies ever! Jodie Foster coming out? How many drugs did she have to take to get brave enough to do that!? And how is that relevant to hers or anyone elses talent?
And....Will Ferrell is funny but he's famous for some really cheesy skits. This award show is not Saturday Night Live. They really need to up the talent a little bit....or a lot!

May I suggest getting off the internet? As long as there's a community where people can openly share their thoughts on what's funny, what's entertaining, etc., there's going to be Internet memes.

And unfortunately, that's spilled over into the real world, outside of the internet. You can blame the media for that.

You forget MEH as a choice.

The only reason I know about this is because today I was online with a computer tech checking audio/video issues. He was remotely servicing my computer. To test we needed to check a video and he went to you tube and selected the clip of Will and Kristen to watch. He commented about how funny it was was beside himself not to lol while we waited to see if there would be issues during the playback.

I'm pretty sure I looked like Tommy Lee on my end with a lot of eye rolling as well.

I have no use for Hollyweird liberalism or their puppet masters who brainwash the sheep.
