Tom Cruise Reunites With Suri in NYC: Is It Fair for Katie Holmes to Get Primary Custody of Her?

Everything should be 50/50, personally I think she played him. She new going in that he was into Scientology. Custody should be the winters with Mom the summers with Dad.

My real answer is "I don't know." Only someone who has examined their personal situation could know the right answer. But it seems to be irrelevent as they seem to have already amicably worked out the custody situation. Good for them.

I think that Katie Holmes was a young girl who was overwhelmed by a movie star. I believe she loved him but has always been and always will be conflicted by his Scientology beliefs. I think as Suri became less and less of a baby, Katie became more and more concerned with all that and with how she woud be brought up. I personally don't think the baby is Tom Cruise's child. Of course, I could be wrong, but I think she probably held the trump card, and that's why this divorce was settled so quickly. I think her trump card was a simple DNA test. I am attaching a photo of the man Katie was involved with just prior to Tom Cruise, and it is coupled with a photo of Suri. I noticed this when she was a baby and put the photos together in Photoshop. Does anyone besides me see an amazing likness?

Oh yes, and based on what I just posted, I do think she should have custody of Suri. I think Tom Cruise was well aware of the facts when they married.

Yes. There IS definitely a likeness. In a way that's a good thing. If Suri's not biological it's to Katie's AND Suri's advantage.

Thank God she did and got Suri away from that crazy influential Church. I think if Tom Cruise had never gotten involved with them, he and Katie would still be together.

Katie Holmes is an selfish bitch who cares nothing for her child. If she did, she wouldnt seperate her from her father. If she did, she wouldnt teach her child to break her word and promises by divorcing a man she made life long vowes with. She knew who she married and for her own selfish desires she left him at the detriment of the child.

if two people cant work out their differences, then its time for them to part. i never much cared for divorce anyway, but its better than raising a child in a environment where the parents arent happy and just put on a show for their daughter. and two people getting a divorce does not mean that they are teaching their child to break words or vows. people change, feeling change, things happen. it hardly makes her a selfish bitch because she doesnt want to raise her daughter in a lie by pretending to be happy for the childs sake.
who knows what goes on behind closed doors with them or anyone. he may see his daughter more connected to his mother than to him. if thats the case, then they both made the best decision for their daughter, who knows. none of us knows their personal business. im sorry that the daughter has to go thru it at all... but none of us are in a position to judge who would be better without knowing every little fact of their lives...

only as a result of the man providing the sperm.

typically through the eyes of the court, unless the mother is unfit, primary custody goes with her. the mother risks her life bringing their child into the earth, the husbands physical involvement in creating the child ends at conception. I'm not saying one parents more important once the child is in the world than the other but do support the courts decision.

I don't know! We do not know what goes on in their lives as a family behind closed doors. So I'm in no position to make that call. Only Suri can pick that answer.

Katie is the one raising Suri. She's always been the constant. I very rarely saw pictures of Tom with Suri out and about, he was always working and too busy. Katie was out with her all the time, always with her. It only makes sense Katie gets custody of her. Tom makes plenty of money to go visit her any time he wants also.
