There have been rumors for years about Tom Cruise being gay. Will his divorce add more fuel to that fire?Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are divorcing after five years of marriage. "This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," Holmes' attorney Jonathan Wolfe told People.

he's not gay or straight - he's some weird sort of alien who reproduces by persuading (seemingly) normal humans to part with vast quantities of cash in order to support his alien space-ship, Scientology, which brings him some strange sort of alien substance which he inserts into his rectum.

I doubt it. But who cares? I'm just glad Katie is getting away from him. Ever since he joined that Scientology group he's been possessive and jealous and a control freak. I've heard interviews, and by listening to him you can hear the arrogance in his voice.

Why is it anybody's business? Why do the gay extremists want to "out" him? I feel the same about John Travolta, it's nobody's business. The only reason people want to out him is malacious, mean, cruel, purposes. They hate successful people and if they can destroy him through this they will.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!! Maybe now Katie can have some happiness and get her career back together. She used to be happy and now every picture we see her in, she hasn't got a smile anywhere to be seen. It's about time she gets away from that control freak Tom Cruise and builds her life up again with her daughter.

Please, and what are people basing that on? Many stars have multiple marriages. Their environment is very destructive towards a marital relationship. Very few are successful and remain with one partner. It is probably over his zeal for his religion. Multiple marriages are, unfortunately, becoming common for many of us in all walks of life.

He has always struck me as asexual. I cannot picture him with a woman, exactly and I do not know any gay men that like him, so he is not giving off good gay vibes either, I dunno. lol

I am shocked to hear that Tom & Katie are divorcing ?? It seems most Hollywood
marriages fall apart after a few years. There are far and few exceptions.
I don't know that he is gay and he doesn't come off that way to me but I do think that he's an egotist and he thinks he's all that and he's over his head with Scientology.
I think he drove her nuts with his religion and despite their mega bucks, she was living an unhappy life and one that she didn't agree with but had to comply with to stay Mrs. Tom Cruise and get her said millions as a marital agreement should they divorce.
He's hot and a great actor but messed up in his head. She's a beautiful lady and could do better with a normal man who is not so obsessive. But gay ? I don't think that's the issue
here.

Just because he's getting a divorce doesn't mean he's gay! It shows that the great love he claimed to have for her on Oprah wasn't all that great. People get divorced all the time now, we seem to have forgotten that marriage is work. It's not always happy and great but holding on through the hard times knowing your spouse isn't going to leave over a stupid fight,is what use to make marriage a great thing.The ups and downs of life are easier knowing you won't have to go through them alone, your spouse is there with you through thick and thin, at least that's what it should be.

Just because things between them have changed doesn't mean his feelings at that time were fake. People don't feel the same about their spouse upon divorce as they do when they're falling in love.

I think he is just a control freak and not gay. After awhile in a relationship or a marriage, one of the partners gets tired of it and wants out. Both of them must have wanted out of this togetherness. It doesn't work in real life most of the time. At some point even if you love the other person you want to be seen as an independent but still care about each other.

Nope. I don't think he's gay. I think he's a total whacko though. He's got his mind all screwed up with Scientology. He obviously hasn't thought things through. He probably put Katie Holmes through hell. I'm glad if she's being set free. I don't know why she married him in the first place. She sure is beautiful, too.
