Celeb gossip addicts appear to be as dazzled by the Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes divorce as they were by the unlikely romance to begin with. So, consider us obsessed! And the big question on everyone's minds is: Which Hollywood parent should get Suri Cruise?

Katie dropped a bombshell on Tom when she filed for sole legal custody of 6-year-old Suri. And now, the custody question is the main thing holding up an amicable settlement, TMZ reports. A source told the gossip site that Tom wants "meaningful, significant contact with his daughter." As one source explained: "She is the primary concern in his life."
We're also hearing that Tom and Katie had a pre-nup, so his pre-Katie fortune should be pretty much safe. But Katie can ask for as much child support as she wants. And for a little girl who's been wearing high heels and ball gowns since infancy, we have a feeling those monthly checks are going to be pretty large! We haven't read anything suggesting that Tom hasn't been a great dad, so we're not sure that Katie should be awarded sole legal custody as she requested. What do you think?

Scientology defectors claim they saw and took part in brainwashing designed to make the kids believe that Kidman was a psychopath. If Cruise gets joint custody, and therefore the right to make religious decisions for the child, it's highly likely that the same thing would happen again.

Suri, isn't that like poop slug at the bottom of a bed pan?
Katie will make sure Suri is exposed to other children and her grandparents and cousins, etc. Would Tom do that when he is off on location half the time? No. It would be nannies taking care of Suri.
As Suri gets older she will decide some things for herself so this is mainly for the next 10-12 years or so. After that it is anybody;s guess what Suri does.
But I agree, Tom needs to leave that cult. It is hurting his career and has caused this 3rd divorce.
It's gonna be interesting how they solve the religion-"problem" concerning Suri.
It's too bad they are splitting up.
Personally speaking, since people live longer now than in the past, and since forever is longer than 7 years, a time when men had more respect for women (for example) back in the Wild West era, mostly because women usually died in childbirth within 7 years of saying "I do...", then I can see people marrying and divorcing several times within their lifetime.
Unless a marriage is consistently physically or verbally abusive, I don't believe marrying several times with children involved is really a good thing for the children, since it can cause children to grow up astray from knowing who they are, leading them allot of times to pathways of no direction causing depression, confusion, emotional insanity (like the homosexual movement for example) or suicide.
Which is ostensibly why Katie left him.
Protect the kid from Xenu-whackadooism.
