As if "Toddlers & Tiaras" wasn't getting enough criticism as it is, TLC is getting ready to air a six-episode spinoff series called "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," starring Alana Thompson from the original series. The series will focus on Thompson's family life, instead of the world of toddler beauty pageants, so critics of the original series might find something a little more substantial. Maybe.

The Thompson family consists of dad "Sugar Bear," mom June, 17-year-old "Chickadee," 15-year-old "Chubbs," 12-year-old "Pumpkin," and of course, 6-year-old Alana. TLC describes them as "unapologetically outrageous" -- just what reality TV junkies want to see. The show airs August 8. But does this sound any better than "Toddlers & Tiaras" or is it just furthering its negative aspects?

Wow i watched that posted video on here and that was enough to make me sick. I mean look at the mom, what this is , is a nasty looking women trying to fullfill her dreams of being beautiful through here kid. This is sick and should be removed from tv.

They are all a disaster!!! Why doesn't the management see it? It mostly reveals the insecurity and manipulation of the parents. Many kids like to perform, to formalise it and make it an adult judges contest is sick.

I've only watched ONE episode of that don't even know which one and I just couldn't hold myself back... those little kids are the worst of america and honestly if they act like this now they will be messed up when they grow up... but if it's fake well then cool my rage for nothing

I avoid reality shows like the plague. This one looks to be particularly disgusting.

What is even more disgusting is that Dr. Drew, who is a real doctor, is obviously violating his oath of "do no harm" by promoting this abomination.

when i was a kid i wore t shirts and blue jeans, had a genuine farmer's tan, 3 chipped teeth, permanently caked on mud, grungy hair, and singed eyebrows from playing around with blowtorches. and don't get me started on the scars...

I'm just tired of parents putting all that makeup and skimpy outfits on these kids (babies), makeup and reveling outfits does make them pretty; it just akes them look too grown, take all the sexuallity out and then maybe I'll watch it!
