You'll never guess what Spider-Man is up to.

Tobey Maguire, best known for playing Spidey in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" trilogy, has been selected to head a new ad campaign by Italian luxury fashion label Prada.

So far we only have two pictures from the campaign, which will support the label's Fall/Winter 2011 line, and we're kind of divided on Maguire's modeling debut.

Im Sorry I didnt mean that offensively i meant more like metro sexual someone who spends more time im front of the mirror than my three daughters combined. somethng along the lines of a male facial products model i didnt think he looked unusual in red tights while paying spidey and we got got the bum shot over and over in those films i just dont think he has the rugged appeal to pull this particular photo shoot off he should be selling Womens Products for Men.

He looks good, but it's hard for me to stop thinking of him as Spider-Man. Plus I always thought he had more of a "regular guy" look, not somebody I'd think of to model Prada.
