Super Mario Bros. is the most popular game of all-time and as we already know -- the first 7 castles that Mario or Luigi go through, the Princess is not there. Instead, we bump into an old friend saying, "Thank You Mario! But our Princes is in another castle!" Really? Is that the way this little bastard mushroom says thank you?

Gosh fellows, is this a serious thing. I have loved Super Mario Bros. and never thought anything about the frog or the finger. Is it important to the game??? Will it make it more fun if I find out? Or is everything serious giving us the finger?

He's not flipping anyone off. The pixel you're talking about is a thumb, not a middle finger. His fingers are pointed outward.

Basically, he's stretching out his arms, and holding his hands open.
