Titanic is a hit that will last for the ages. It should do very well on the 100th anniversary of the voyage and tragedy. The 3-D I could do without, but "whatever floats your boat."

If it sank in 2D, it will sink faster in 3D because is heavier; unles we are talking CGI

I hoe it sinks into the Marianas trench where it will not be reachable.

Although Titanic is one of my favorite movies, I won't see it in 3D. Costs too much, for one thing.

Maybe for the 'new generation', the teens who haven't seen it yet. But I don't see how 3D can make it much more exciting, and the first one wasn't thát great, so I'm definately not going.

It will swim because there are enough stupid people out there that will pay $12 to see a movie they've already seen. Dumb dumbs!

what's the damn point of showing it again, just in 3D?? Everyone knows the story, why even make a movie about it??

    SPOILER ALERT!!! It sinks!

Just kidding around, but seriously no matter how many times you re-do this movie it doesn't matter, it wasn't that good. And after Avatar, I don't want to give James Cameron anymore money so that he can make sequels to that "turd", and yes... I know, those sequels/prequels are already in the works.

I'm fed up with bloody Titanic. There's even a British TV series on about it now to "celebrate" the centenary. I suspect it will be more factual than the film.

First of all, OF COURSE it will sink. That's what happens historically and in the movie. Second, this is one of those movies where a 3D remake makes me ask "Why?"

Titanic will probably swim though not as far as the first release. Just like before the movie will do so without my support.

ONLY Saw it once (it definitely was GREAT to put me to a very SOUND, SOUND SLEEP (seriously -- difficult to wake me up when the movie ended .. that is how boring it was))

Wasn't it enough hype for the regular release, didn't they make enough $$$$ with the DVD sales too? We do NOT .. so do not need to see any re-releases at all .. period ..

Titanic is one of my favorite movies. Just it being released to the big screen again is exciting to me, whether it's 3d or not. My boyfriend bought us tickets to the advanced screening on April 3rd. I saw it when I was ten, and even though I own three copies of the movie (vhs, collectible vhs and collectible dvd...yes perhaps I'm obsessed, ha), I am super excited to see it on the big screen again :)

I Love The Movie, but NOT in 3D! Anyone who wants to put on a pair of Glasses that really have no effect on the Red, Blue, & Green aspects of 3D shouldn't even waste their time. I've NEVER like 3D, wouldn't buy a 3D Television, won't buy a 3D Blu-Ray DVD (though I do like Blu-Ray DVD's), let alone go to a "3D Movie." If People want to go, it's their Choice. Myself, I'd rather buy a Plasma Screen TV & watch "Titanic" at home!

The younger crowd will go for the 3D effects but those of us that have already seen it I don't think will go just because the studios are trying to milk it again for a few more bucks. It was a good movie when it came out, but not a great movie so I think it will be marginal at best.
