Promo pictures of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, as funded by Walt Disney Pictures, have been released.

In Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, Johnny Depp will play the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway the White Queen. Mia Wasikowska will star as Alice.

Alice in Wonderland is scheduled to be released in March 2010 and is a movie based on Lewis Carroll's twisted child's tale. The screenplay for Alice in Wonderland was written by Lina Woolverton.

It depends on which Alice in Wonderland you mean. The 1985 version with Carol Channing (sp?) was exceptional in its own way. Disney had a fairly good version too, though live always seems better than cartoon, to me.

The strange, twisted pictures seem interesting to me, and I think the movie will be truer to the mentality of Lewis Carroll than most versions. Think about how twisted the Jabberwocky is. How dark it is.

I think this is going to be very, very good.

Now, if only someone would put the Looking Glass Wars to film....

Well I'm not saying anything about that, I'm straight, whether he's hot or not doesn't matter, I knew it would be creepy, this is Tim Burton after all, but I just don't like the portrayal of the character the Mad Hatter

As for the other part I threw that in because I really think that he is hot as everything he plays as.

I think it'll be fantastic but I do believe Anne should have been Alice or maybe a child should have played Alice, but! <3 It will be a good movie.

sure it will. it will just have the tim burton touch to it. naturally no one should expect the disney version. tim did a great job with charlie and the chocolate factory.
