Tickle Me Pink's bassist, Johnny Schou, was found dead at his home in Colorado. Schou was only 22 years old, and was found the day their band was to release their first CD to the world. After hearing the news, the band canceled their interview at The Denver Post and performance at Independent Records. Tickle Me Pink was set to go on tour with Finch and Scary Kids Scaring Kids beginning in July, with performances lined up through September.

If anyone would actually look at other articles where the band actually interviewed you will find that Johnny had a rough child hood but he has changed himself because of this band. Also the band members said that he wasn't into drinking or drugs. I would rather say that it had something to do with heart failure. Plus he was excited because their first CD was coming out the next day. I don't think he would be stupid enough to get waisted and have a hang over the next day or do drugs to kill himself. And I deffinetly know he wouldn't kill himself.

I don't know. Since their album was coming out maybe they has a huge party on Monday, and that might have something to do with it. It sucks though. They were one of my favorite bands and when i heard on 93.3 i almost started crying. I have know idea what the band is going through right now, and who knows if the band will make it without him too?

I dont know why either. Im trying to figure it out. I thought maybe it was because the cd also. Plus they just got done at warped tour so they might have been celebrating? If anyone finds out i would like to know though

Schou was a bassist, so his death was probably drug related.

He had heroin problems when he was 15.....idk if thats it though...RIP JOHNNY

Im not sure. I have heard the name of the band many times and I barely got to hear what they sounded like at warped tour a couple days ago.

I wasnt a big fan but its still really sad because I was just there watching him.
