Think the former NFL players suing the NFL for head concussion injuries might wind up eventually causing football as we know it to be BANNED?

They well knew, long before joining the NFL, that head injuries and other injuries are part of such a sport. And for well over a hundred years players accepted that fact as part of the game.
My personal opinion is that the lawsuit SHOULD be deemed frivolous. But the way judges and lawyers seem to be bent on finding ways to milk the system for all its worth, I won't be surprised if the court rules against the NFL.
Players already wear helmets, etc. And if that doesn't prevent head injuries. then what is the next step, non-impact touch football?
I don't think many folks will pay big bucks to watch "touch-football" Super Bowl games.

However .. I'll also acknowledge in this lawsuit-happy society nowadays .. it seems as if these players might be .. in the short run .. looking to get an additional 'payday' (after they finished playing) .. yet .. potentially cutting off future years of Football as we know now ..
