The Situation Plans New Business Venture: Would You Go to a GTL Salon?

It was only a matter of time. "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino plans to open a chain of "GTL salons," In Touch reports. For those of you who have been under a rock for the last two and half years, that stands for "Gym, Tan, Laundry," a phrase used often by the "Jersey Shore" gang.

the situation

"He's starting a line of GTL salons," an insider tells the mag. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to conclude that the salons would each contain a laundromat, tanning salon and a gym. Sorrentino, 30, plans to start the chain in Miami and New Jersey and expand in the future, the mag reports.

Now that MTV has finished taping the final season of "Jersey Shore," it makes sense that Mike would try to find a way to keep cashing in on his 15 minutes of fame. Whatever keeps him out of rehab!

I have NEVER, & will NEVER watch an episode of JS, & I'd be even less likely to give this w@nker a single cent directly from my pocket...hopefully they'll go belly-up well before anyone from Down Under thinks about bringing the tacky concept here...

Laundromats can be pretty advanced today. They have arcades, and an automat, and can be open 24 hours. It could work.

if i had the money i would open one myself. it is almost free money.
as an electrician, i did some wiring for one and after the $5000 bed is paid for the rest is 85% profit.

Not that I'd expect anything remarkable out of any of the members on that travesty of a show, but this guy is a giant bag of douche. I would honestly have to hold back vomit if he came within a 10 foot radius of my person, and probably feel the need to get an STD test. I wouldn't want to use any laundromat, any tanning salon, or any gym that this slimy moron had possibly been in; at least not without a hazmat suit.
