It’s official: royal baby fever has taken over the internet. Since St. James’ Palace broke the news that Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting a baby, not one, not two, but five Twitter parody accounts pretending to be the royal baby have appeared.

Proving once again that the human race has way too much time on its hands, we now have @RoyalFoetus, @Royal_Fetus, @IamRoyalBaby, @UnbornRoyal and@HRHBaby, all delivering humorous messages from the point of view of the Duchess of Cambridge’s future bundle of joy.

According to CNN, Catherine is still staying in King Edward VII hospital Tuesday, after being admitted on Monday with acute morning sickness. She has been visited by Prince William again Tuesday, after he spent most of Monday at her side.

The palace has reported that the Duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a more severe morning sickness which involves nausea and vomiting. Do you think that the royal baby obsession has already begun?

Azkleric - Regrettably you are right, it's all a load of monarchical propaganda crap. Rumor: when visiting the royal sprog one must bow if a male, and curtsy most demeaningly if a female. Furthermore, one must remove oneself from the room by walking backwards, through an open door with head held low and eyes diverted. The said door will be in the control of a suitably flunkey over dressed in the usual garish bad taste that only royals and Idi Amin can offer. Furthermore, the door man will, in future be addressed as: "..the most honorable royal door opener and door closer in waiting". One of many revered titles in a "modern" royal Britain. Pass me the sick bag - QUICK!

I do wish the press and media would back off. I do care but not the the extent of being lambasted with news that covers every turn of events. I could not walk a mile in the shoes of the Duke of Cambridge and I'm sure he would like a bit of privacy for his wife.
