Yes. Indeed i saw The Roommate, Or also known as, Crazy White Bitch- The Movie. Now i won't lie, I Was actually looking forward to the Roommate, It looked like Mindless fun, You know like Sorrority Row or Friday the 13th, Oh Hey...The Crazies as well, And Leighton Meester is in it. So why not? Pretty much the plot of the story is that A Girl goes to college and starts dating this dude and gets a good friend, and one nice Roommate until she starts being psycho and kills everyone that the girl knows. See, I Won't lie. That has potential, If it wasn't full of what i call, The usual bad movie formula, Bad Acting, Bad Dialogue, Characters you don't care about, and Pretty much just a unoriginal time. Alright so the film is pretty bad as i have said, Nothing really interesting going on, I Mean i would have been fine watching this at Home on Demand at Like Midnight, Drunk even? But no, After having to sit threw this with a small crowd of people in the theater, I Didn't get any enjoyment out of it what so ever, Wait...No i did like laughing at the really bad Dialogue, It was so bad it was funny.
But also another problem with the film is that they try to make The Roommate be scary, and she actually did have one scene where it was creepy, but then it was ruined by another scene a few seconds later, It had Potential to be scary! It could've had awesome scares, Death scenes, and anything else that you would want in your average teens slasher flick! But no! All she does is glare, Not a kick-ass one liner right before she is about to kill one of her victims. I Mean if you want to have some serious shit go down, Have like The Roommate be the Next Harley Quinn of Batman and Have The Joker Return...and go against Lex Luthor...and The Green Goblin Teamed up.THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
But No, Really annoyingly Cheesy white bitch glare.
That's it.
And The film really drags i mean it feels like a two and a half hour film but i think that it was only about a hour and thirty minutes, and that two hour feel kicked in about 30 or 40 Minutes into the movie.
Which sucks.
I Would've been fine watching this at home, But i didn't and it wasn't a good film at all.
For What The Roommate was, It wasn't a god awful film like The Last Airbender or Jonah Hex or anything, But It was a Extremely bad film.
I'm having a new rating system, No long 10/10 But 5/5.
So i guess i give The Roommate a 1/5? I Would give it a half but i am being Generous.
