With John Lennon and George Harrison gone, there's been no chance of a Beatles reunion for more than 30 years. But this could be the next best thing. James McCartney, son of Paul, told BBC that he and a couple other Beatle-spawn might be interested in forming a band called
The Beatles: The Next Generation. At this point, the only problem is convincing one of Ringo Starr's kids to join.
McCartney said, "I'd be up for it. Sean [Lennon] seemed to be into it, Dhani [Harrison] seemed to be into it. I'd be happy to do it ... I don't think it's something that Zak [Starkey] wants to do, but maybe Jason [Starkey] would want to do it. You'd have to wait and see. The will of God, nature's support, I guess. So yeah, maybe. I think it's great. It's best for me to embrace it, rather than run away like I used to do." Do you think Beatles: The Next Generation sounds like a good idea?
(Spotted Dick a English dish) of their parents.
So i think they should come back out.
I watched James McCartney's vid, and he seems to be less than thrilled by the limelight.
I suspect Sir Paul is behind it.
Look at the look on James' face. It's duty, or some weirdness.
a downward spiral.
One may look like their father, act like their act father and have
their father's blood. That doesn't mean the talents going to be
genetic. Even though I said don't bother, I would like to see
them try.
#2. Why does Paul's son look like a cabbage patch doll?
#3. Zak will never do it. He's already a first rate drummer in his own right and doesn't have to use his dad's name to prove it.
