I don't like the arrogance of three "superstars" deciding they're going to one team to win championships -- I'd love to see them lose again.

OKC is a better all around team than Miami. Not only that they are not as arrogant and whiny as Miami, which goes a long ways to me. But if Lebron can continue his stride Miami will be hard to beat.

I really dont care one way or the other. Watching 10 grown men throw a ball around in a room, then trying to put it in a basket on a pole is not my idea of intertainment....

Why? There has never been a team in any professional sport as beaten up as my Heat; win, lose, or draw there's always criticism. Not for the Knicks, not for the Lakers, not for the Celtics, why? If James went 6 for 16 in the 7th game like Paul Pearce did, he would be publicly lynched. If Coach Spo pulled his starters out with 3 minutes left in the game, he would be publicly lynched. Why the Heat; why is the Heat the team everyone loves to hate? They stopped the bragadocious stuff; they play hard, some spectacular plays, highlight reels; what more do you people want from us? miami american airlines arena miami american airlines arena

I'm unaware of any other time in any professional sport where three free agent "superstars" got together and decided they were going to go to the same team to win a championship. Add to that the circus around Lebron's picking of the team he was going to - devoting a television who to it just like "reality TV." That was a major turnoff.

Superstars jump teams all the time; how many teams did Shaq play for? Ilgaukus quit Cleveland and went to Miami; nobody convicted him. How many times does LBJ have to remorse about the way he did it? Don't forget he's almost a kid, what is he 26 years old? Cleveland or Miami; which would you chose if you were told you could go, live as a wealthy man, and your family with you? Of course you would chose Miami. DWade didn't pick Miami to join, he's been here all along, has a ring. Bosh is no superstar; he's an all-star big difference. The Heat made it without Bosh; oh you're in Indiana, sour grapes huh? You have a great young team with a great future; some of the players came from other teams didn't they?

Yes, superstars do jump teams, but as I said, I can't recall three of them, i.e. James, Bosh and Wade, getting together and deciding to play for the same team, assuming they'd be unbeatable.

No, I'm in Idaho - we have an NBA Developement Team here, the Idaho Stampede who are a "farm team" for the Portland Trailblazers.

DWade didn't; he's been here all along. The celebration may have been premature but how long do they have to pay for that mistake? Everybody in the world knows they were the best team against the Mavs last year; maybe not those last four games but they were the better team. They are the best team now; they may not play like it, they may lose, but we all know ithey hit on all eight cylinders they will blow OKC out. If they play like crap they will lose bu tthey are the best team.

True, but I think he was a free agent and talked the other two into joining him. It's OKC by 5 with 7 minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

He was talking about wanting to go home to Chicago where he grew up but the city of Miami wasn't about to let that happen. He is not 100%, something is wrong; we'll be back; been up against the wall before unlike last year when the play-offs were a breeze; this year the Heat have had to come-back twice; better prepared.

The Heat got humbled last year; LeBron has remorsed over the way he dissed Cleveland; what more do you people want? This is going to be like a boxing match; win one round, lose the next. The Heat will win Thursday and go to three games at home. Will experience win out or youthfulness?
  • Charu ∞... Tuna 2012/06/13 16:43:32
    Charu ∞ijm♥∞
I seriously doubt if the Heat will win Thursday, not only are the Thunder a great team with a great coach but they have AWESOME FANS who are a fantastic support system! How many sold out games do the Heat have and all the fans are wearing their colors!?!?! Cheering regardless?!?!?
LeBron is not remorseful ...please. I have heard him, strictly lip service.

Youthfulness & Heart will win out over the experienced ego...IMHO of course. :)

    We will see.

Great coach, awesome fans, every game is sold out at AAA, Heat fans all wear WHITE hot Heat shirts; that's at every HOME arena during play-offs not just OKC. We shall see.

We not only do it at HOME game playoffs but every GAME! If they are not at home we gather at Thunder Alley downtown and watch/cheer together and they KNOW it! So yeah...we shall see. You have met THE team darling. ;)

Every team's fans do that; there are 1,000 places in Dade County that carry away games live; every city that has a pro team basketball, baseball, football, etc. does that. The Heat have championship experience (Wade, Haslem, Howard, Curry); it may take 7 games but the Heat know how to adjust under pressure; no worries.

You missed the point dude......We are in the street watching it, called Thunder Alley....festival style! Not in bars, clubs, etc.
Why you want to hate? It is the Thunder's year sop just roll with it! :)

Why you want me to give up my allegiance to my team? We can't party outside, it rains almost every day; too hot to party outside. Do you party outside when it is cold/snowing/rainy? Just because YOU are a loyal Thunder fan doesn't make everybody one; chill out, it's only basketball. We have the Miami Dolphins starting up, the Miami Marlins are having a good year, the NHL team is not so good this year; but if that fails, we have the beaches, the Everglades, the reefs; it's just basketball, doll. port of Miami everglades alligators

Unlike you we have not had a professional team or two or more forever....we are basically newbies and if you would read what you have said to me it is like you are blowing us off like we are nothing. Yes I am going to get defensive, we have a AWESOME team who is not only killer on the court but also in the community. We don't have any primadonnas on the team we have a TEAM! Even #35 is very humble.

Yes actually we do party outside in all kinds of weather! We are hardy enough! We have survived tornadoes, a bombing, droughts, freak snow storms, wildfires. We are in the heart of America. So give us a little something to be happy about without raining on our parade. Keep your little condescending remarks to yourself please. btw....get ready for arse whipping #2!
