The National Enquirer Says That John Travolta Is a 'Secret Cross Dresser': Believable or Baloney?

Actually, my mom saved it. After she passed away we split up the family albums, which in her case where like journal/scrapbooks that she had compiled for a lifetime. She had even made separate books for all the kids and in mine she put the article. Then she wrote a sweet paragraph about how I was such a good mom and struggling on my own and there was a photo of me fast asleep and my young son holding me in his arms watching TV when he was about 3 years old. Because of the way she put it together in the book I left it in there.

That is very sweet. A good way to turn something bad into something good. What was that about life giving you lemons and you make lemon juice? So what is this man up to these days?

He remarried ( not to Kate) and his new wife couldn't have kids so thy adopted a child several years ago. ( rather ironic, he left one son, gave up a daughter and then adopted a boy.). He did show up for our son's wedding 3 years ago. I am still on good speaking terms with him because we have a son together and now 2 grand babies. But, he lives up north and I rarely hear from him. ( Not the world's best father). The baby in the article is now an adult and she found my son when she turned 21. They have a relationship and she was invited to my son's wedding as well. She is a very pretty girl and looks a lot like my son. Kate had two sons from other marriages. Life goes on.....

True, life does go on. I'll tell you though I had to read this a few times before I understood any of it. lol. A lot to keep track of.

I know.... feel like my life was a soap opera!! Not how I planned it. LOL

I'd always see that magazine on the stand as a kid at the grocery store and every time I read something my mother had to tell me it was somebody's creative writing project. Since half the stuff on the cover would say things about alien abductions and haunted elevators eating people, I trust what she said.

I've never believed anything that came from the Nat'l Enquirer. Why do ya think they got sued so many times!!!!

I was never a Travolta fan or hater but something is amiss here. There are just too many claims and accusations to discount them all. I think that he has some sexual proclivities that he would rather not make public.

Inconsistencies do leak out with the celebrities and their lives. If the accusations are true I have trouble believing this stuff about J. Travolta, and Ifeel sorry for his wife and kids.

I think it's nonsense cooked up by this individual who's trying to get money out of him. Something about acting inappropriately during a massage? I don't believe it.

I really don't know and I really don't care. But, I will say this....anyone who has ever grown up with him.....watching him since the 70's...I am of the opinion that the man is gay or bi. I like John Travolta, just wish he'd come out already.

I first saw him on Welcome back Kotter which made him rise to stardom but I never got the impression he was gay back in the 70s.

You don't think he acted effeminate on Welcome Back Kotter? I do. The same with Grease, Saturday Night Fever. The 80's really showed it. IMO. He does like to dance in many of his movies. =0)

No it never occured to me and I think it is because on Welcome Back Kotter he came off as "manly" with that Vinnie Barbarino character. to me anyway.
Same with me, I don't care if he does "come out of the closet".

I don't think it's probable, but a lot of people secretly cross-dress and it's not like they give off a ton of hints about it in their non-secret lives. I don't have enough evidence to believe it, but the notion that he COULD be is itself believable, if the distinction I'm trying to draw makes any sense.

I think If Jonathan Waters remade Pink Flamingo's Travolta would jump at Divine's role in a heart beat.

Most folks know Travolta is in the closet as far as the public eye goes but word has been out since he was on "Welcome Back, Kotter" about his sexuality.

Well... I'm pretty sure The National Enquirer has a celebrity "Wheel of Gay" that they spin everyday to decide which star will receive an "Exclusive Sexual Scandal". They're pretty nasty!!!

It's no secret that the National Enquirer aren't interested in facts. Their only concern is being read.
