No. I'm sorry to hear you haven't grasped all the magic of Harry Potter. Maybe you need to go over the series again? I have nothing against your opinion, but I have read some of your other reply's to other peoples opinions, and basically your bitching them out because they disagree with you. Hunger Games is a FAD. Meaning it is much less complex than Harry Potter is, and is just something that is considered "cool" now, but will end up fading a year or so after the last movie comes out. Hell, maybe even before. Harry Potter still has more actual paperback, printed book copies sold than the hunger games does. It still holds the record for fastest selling book in history. Harry Potter is 100% original, the characters grow organically with the series and their development is practically flawless, and the plot is absolutely uncollapsible. I've fought this argument too many times, and do not wish to do it again, so thats as far as I'll go. It's you who's being the unintelligent one, not everyone else. Fact of the matter is, The Hunger Games doesn't hold a candle to Harry Potter. Harry Potter has been, and not just by me, considered a classic, and it is a beautiful piece of literature. Hunger Games is a mediocre book series with an okay plot, but with some major holes. I could go on and on, but I am sincerely tired now, of fighting this argument with jerks like you. It's now up to you, sir, to turn around and realize that almost the whole world disagrees with you. Harry Potter will always be better than the Hunger Games and probably most other book and movie adaptations that come along in the future.

yes it is 100% original. you basically just summarized the whole fantasy genre. You want to go down to the absolute bottom of the concept map, and that just doesn't work. Multiple books at a time can have a fantastical concept. (witches and wizards and magic.) Because the book is about magic (aka, the fantasy genre), doesn't make it unoriginal.Yes, the plot and the idea of the story is 100% original. No one has ever thought up a magic boarding school, and a world like hers. She has a great number of unique creatures places, events, characters, etc.... I could say the hunger games isn't original, and have more of a reason to think so. Other books can be about a dystopian society, just like harry potter can be about magic, and witches and wizards, but the hunger games isn't original. Battle royal? Had the same exact plot. And yes, of course no book is 100% flawless either, but the flaws in her books are extremely miniscule. Ever heard of JK Rowlings ghost plots? Those are things that aren't even put in the books, but she knows about them anyway. IE: George's wife and children, harry, ron, and hermione's jobs as adults, etc.... The series is so heavily detailed, and way more complex than THG. The Hunger Games is not a bad book, but much less so then harry potter is. And, no, I suggest you do your research my friend. Each Harry Potter book, yes EACH. SINGLE. BOOK, grossed more money than any single Hunger Games book. And these are actual printed copies I'm talking about. Harry Potter has in fact been named the most famous book and movie series in history. It's movies have been very highly acclaimed. Type in each movie on rottentomatoes.com and see what ratings come up.You can have your opinion, but harry potter is way more complex and detailed than the hunger games. But, this is a definite fact: Harry Potter will not fade as soon as the hunger games will. It will live on for hundreds of years. Yes, it is definitely a legend and has revolutionised an era. I never gave up, you immature 15 year old with the IQ of a fly. :) Also, the hunger games, terrible character development. Katniss grew into, well, katniss. So did practically every other character. The only one with a little growth was gale.
