"The Hunger Games" is almost out, and there's a good chance diehard fans are going to look into the soundtrack. It's star-studded, eclectic, and a little bit strange. Produced by T-Bone Burnett, a former touring companion of Bob Dylan who worked on "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "The Big Lebowski," the soundtrack features music from Kid Cudi, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Arcade Fire, and Miranda Lambert. And it's already No. 1 on iTunes.
And they aren't just doing this for cross-promotion. Many of the artists are genuinely interested in the film, giving it their best shot. LionsGate's Head of Film Music Tracy McKnight told The News, "The interesting thing about this movie that I've never seen before is the artists were reading the books, and when the deal was announced we started fielding calls ... I was so blown away by [Kid Cudi's] love of the books."

My platoon Sgt. Stevenson was from the Virginia border country. These Scotch Irish types have fought all our wars.
Stevenson had 48 months combat duty when he lead our infantry platoon. He had been in WWII and Korea.

but I have a feeling the 400 little girls sceaming like idiots will take away and chance this movie has of being good.
