Excuse the Twilight-related question, by the way. :P I know it's annoying, but I got into a debate with some twelve-year-olds on which book was better. -sigh-

We all know how I feel about the Twilight Saga, but just the fact that it was a series gave me more time to grow familiar with the characters, and character familiarity is a huge part of enjoying a book for me. However, I'd agree that the literary componants of The Host were better than those of Twilight.

The characters are *way* more believable, the plot line original, and it sends across more emotion than the Twilight Saga ever could.
