What sport ends with closing ceremonies and no MVP? The Olympics. Bah! Time to move on to real sports... like football! And I don't need to say "American" before "football."
Football season begins in less than 3 weeks. I need to start practicing with mock drafts for my fantasy football league. I've gotta plan my first tailgate to the USC opener against the Rainbow Warriors of Hawaii (yeah, I know that Hawaii dropped the "Rainbow" from their team name, but I haven't.) Are you happy that football season is underway -- or are you sad that the Olympics are over?

In 1993, that one did produce some injuries, but again, no one died.
The full article from the Journal Sentinal out of Milwaukee WI is here http://www.jsonline.com/news/...
Also, I looked up "Number of deaths caused by soccer riots" just ONE had 79 deaths alone. How are soccer fans better? Seriously. One riot alone kills 79 people??!?!?
Most riot of soccer fans I see, people throw trash on the field, go about hitting law enforcement and each other. They genuinely look like crazy people
I speak from much experience.
Oakland Raiders, 2003.
University of Minnesota Gophers, 2004
University of Oregon, 1973
Denver Broncos, 1998
Brigham Young University, 1896
Amongst many others (There was one riot at a Wisconsin Badgers game that caused the trampling death of numerous spectators, but I cannot recall the date.).
Are you ready for some football? Yeah!
"Hail to the Redskins!"
You guys may finally have your answer at QB. I wish you good luck this year except for the Ravens game!
Me too on going far. The window is closing on some of our old timers and I'd love to see another NFL title come home to Baltimore. It is extra sweet because of the lack of concern the league shows for us here.
