The Heck With the Olympics, It's Time for Football! Are You Happy?

Don't watch American football, I only really pay attention to World Football. Euro Championships were entertaining, can't wait for world championships.

"World Football" or "Soccer" is boring as hell.

I find American football mundane and boring, I think it all depends on what you grew up on.

I don't like either, sorry.

American football fans are the worst sports fans in existence.

Yeah....nothing says class like drinking buckets of beer, singing gay songs and then starting a riot in the stands because the freaking SOCCER game lasts for 90 minutes and only one goal is scored.

Because painting your face pretty colors, getting drunk and yelling at a TV screen at a game where a bunch of big buff guys rub against each other is SO much better.

At least American Football players don't fall over like sissy girls when they're touched pretending to be hurt.

Riots caused by American football fans have killed spectators in the past. Rowdy University of Wisconsin fans, pissed after losing a game, rioted and trampled many spectators who had fallen down trying to leave the fray. Numerous other instances of death caused by rioting football fans have occurred. American football players have so many maxi-pads on they rarely ever get hurt. That's why we call it "Rugby for pussies."

Okay, read the article about the "Rowdy University of Wisconsin Fans" rushing the field. Not ONE SINGLE PERSON was injured in October 2010. Not even one. Oh sorry, sprained ankle. No one died.

In 1993, that one did produce some injuries, but again, no one died.

Also, I looked up "Number of deaths caused by soccer riots" just ONE had 79 deaths alone. How are soccer fans better? Seriously. One riot alone kills 79 people??!?!?

Most riot of soccer fans I see, people throw trash on the field, go about hitting law enforcement and each other. They genuinely look like crazy people

I never said soccer was better. They are on the same level in terms of the fan base (even though I actually enjoy playing soccer). They are talking about how american football is better.

That is only in TV beer commercials. Seriously, most fans do not do that.

Went to several Baltimore Colt games wtih my Dad when I was a kid. Ravens seaon ticket holder since 1996. I have been to a few games in my lifetime.

I speak from much experience.

I live in louisiana. Everything is "by the commercial" down here.

Oh that was a killer. I feel the Giants made out on that deal as I felt we would have beaten them.

Me too on going far. The window is closing on some of our old timers and I'd love to see another NFL title come home to Baltimore. It is extra sweet because of the lack of concern the league shows for us here.

I have a feeling it might be either Green Bay or San Fran vs. the Ravens in the Super Bowl! The Giants will NOT get that lucky this season!

That would be pretty cool. I'd prefer to play San Fran though. Aaron Rogers is scary and besides, a "Harbaugh Bowl" would be a great sideshow!

Actually I could care less about sports in general as I find them all boring. Much prefer to get out and go do something of interest.
