Carl Lewis was interviewed for a movie once and said, "that the movie showed one of the hardest things about being a TOP athlete...in being selfish." He meant that in order to train and put in the time, great athletes have to be selfish. They cannot be "Situations" and Tom Brady. Eventhough some of them try.

It's been a long time since I was a competitor (Judo and Wrestling) but the hardest part for me was making weight. I love to eat and was always penciled into a lower weight than I was comfortable with.

That's too true. I think they are just mad because they probably gave the stuff up, he stayed on his and walked away with all those medals (before). I always thought, if he does THAT good smoking a doobie, heck let him do one before every competition lol

I have Beiber faver! I think he's a cutie & has a big heart. Some guy on a board reamed me out for saying that because supposedly Justin "talks horribly about the U.S." news to me, I never heard it.

I didn't necessarily have Phelps fever 4 years ago when he became a superstar. But I became a fan when I heard all the bull crap he had to hear because he likes to take bong hits on his time off. It made me laugh when some referred to Pot as "Performance enhancing" Which was the complete opposite narrative I was lead to believe from the propaganda anti pot films we were subjected to in school.

I have yet to hear The Biebs make one disparaging comment towards the U.S.A. He's always Respectful during interviews. I'm pretty sure If he did Everyone would have known about it and it would have been good for 50 Soda head Posts.

I'm right with you on not being all into Phelps his last go, also until after the fact when those things come out. You'd of thought the guy went on a heroin binge & killed a few women & children along the way! ;-)

I just told that guy that I never heard anything about Beiber saying such a thing, I'm not going to believe some hater on the net either. Unless I hear or see some big commotion about it then I'll perk up.
