If you like rock and roll, you can't beat the Stones. The thing is the Stones have pretty much always been the same.

The Beatles, on the other hand, started out playing fairly simple music and then grew and changed with each album. In the final years that they were together they broke new ground and redefined themselves and created new musical horizons with every album. The Beatles made huge, revolutionary changes to the music industry and their magic is still felt today.

The Beatles! They were the ones who actually got the Stones their first hit and the Stones have admitted to copying them on several subsequent hits as well.

My guess is you have never listened to more than one of their songs. It is impossible for anyone to hate them, they are like krabby patties :D The only people who don't like them have never tasted... er listened to them. xD

I am a beatlemaniac and ill admit it. but i do love the stones because they are also brill, but, for me, nothing beats john, paul, george and ringo. they just have so much of a range, from their early stuff to later, it just all resounds with the time period they lived in. they've helped changed music and they will continue this legacy for many many years to come

i always dug the stones more but both are great!..but i disagree the stones have NOT always been the same..they started out as a blues rock n roll band then got into poppier more british type music thanks to Brian Jones then got into psychedelic music then went back to there roots n got into country folk blues americana music then they got into funk n reggae then into disco n dance music which was poppier then they got back into rock music..so yeah the same? naw not by a long shot
