Marathon gaming generally isn't the healthiest thing for your body if you're playing games like "World of Warcraft" or "Modern Warfare 3," but 17-year-old Alexander Skudlarek got the workout of his life when he played "Dance Dance Revolution" for 16 hours, 18 minutes, and nine seconds in October. This week, he received confirmation that the feat landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records for "the longest videogames marathon playing Dance Dance Revolution."
According to Kotaku, the marathon did allow him a ten-minute break every hour, but it got him the record anyway so who's counting? Skudlarek also told Kotaku he isn't all that into "DDR." He just scoured Guinness and picked something he thought he could pull off. And he did, but "DDR" has a lot of hardcore fans. We anticipate a challenger some time very soon...
